Mood Board Lecture
MoodBoards, or a.k.a. Inspiration boards allow you to prepare your projects influences. They are always there for reference throughout the project, helpful in avoiding embarrassing and expensive misdirections. Mb’s Are visual rather than verbal, and should practically speak for themselves. Their purpose is to curate rather than collect, to set the tone, look, feel, personality, and vibe of the project. When putting together an MB go out and take plenty of photos. Include imagery, color palette, textures, type styles (both display and body type), even physical objects, and three words that describe the subjects personality.
