Neyenesch has been operating for 119yrs, and have been in the same building since 1959 and got their start originally i the basement of the Hotel Del. They're "sheet-fed" printers, and considered a commercial printing company, which means they're not geared toward anything in particular, many jobs are unique.

Production Notes

150-200 dpi is best for black & whie printing. There are many types of Uncoated and coated Paper. some examples are: silk-coated, matte-coated, and dull-coated (which is best for magazines). Soft touch aquious coating is for  that soft/smooth rubbery feel. Anytime you're doing a sattle-stitched book you have to do it in increments of four. CMYK usually runs darkest to lightest.

Contract Proofs

once you sign off on these proofs, the rest is your responsibility. You should always have a fresh set of eyes look at your work to help you edit. C.P.'s are also good for checking color. The earlier in the process you find a mistake, the cheaper.
